Each kit comes professionally spliced with a heavy-duty marine-grade stainless steel thimble and safety hook, making it a ready-to-install drop-in replacement for your Davco crane.
2. Choose Your Kit Size
Selecting the correct kit is based entirely on your crane's Safe Working Load (SWL). Matching the rope diameter and length to your specific drum capacity ensures smooth spooling and safe operation.
Option 1: The Light-Duty Kit (6mm x 10m)

• Best For: Davits with an SWL of 350kg and below (Perfect match for the Davco DC350 winch).
  
• Specifications: 10 metres of 6mm Single Braid Black UHMWPE Urethane rope, spliced with a stainless steel thimble and safety hook.
  

Option 2: The Heavy-Duty Kit (8mm x 12m)

• Best For: Davits with an SWL between 500kg and 650kg (Perfect match for the Davco DC1200 winch).
  
• Specifications: 12 metres of 8mm Single Braid Black UHMWPE Urethane rope, spliced with a stainless steel thimble and safety hook.
  

⚠️ Critical Safety & Fitment Warning
DO NOT install the Heavy-Duty (8mm) Kit on a 350kg SWL davit or DC350 winch drum.
The 8mm rope is too thick and long for the smaller 350kg winch drum. Attempting to spool 12 metres of 8mm rope onto a 350kg drum will cause the rope to bunch, bind against the housing, and cause severe, costly damage to your winch drum assembly. Always stick to the 6mm kit for cranes rated at 350kg or less.
